| Misc. | Coached Houston's FIRST EVER Poetry Slam Team to 10th in the Nation at the National Poetry Slam competition in August of 2002. Continue to act as the team's manager. There was a write up in the Houston Press and the Conroe Bulletin before the competition. Was the city poetry slam champion for Albuquerque in 2000 and has been on two Albuquerque poetry slam teams. Poetry has appeared on a bus panel in the Albuquerque Ride the Moon Project. Released a full length album as a member of Third Option a poetry, techno, piano fusion act in February of 2002, the album is called "Cult of Nice" and is available on line. Was awarded a certificate of appreciation from Mayor Baca of Albququere for creating the Rhyme and Meter Poetry project a project that places poets and art on parking meters. Is a level 3 Course Supervisor for Landmark Education and plan to return to school to complete degree in the near future. |
